These images are from my first visit to the Everglades. I am very lucky to have a good friend who lives in Coconut Grove and who loves to play tour guide when I visit. He was a very gracious host and a great source of information! Most of these photos are birds--I was totally fascinated by the variety there. Many species were firsts for me, but now I am much more familiar with them. Enjoy!
